These terms govern your use of this website and the journals published by Premier Academic Publishers ("we", "us"). By using the site, creating an account or submitting a manuscript, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

1. Using the website

You may read, download and share published articles under the licence shown on each article. You must not misuse the site — for example by attempting to access other people's accounts or private areas, uploading malicious files, scraping the site in a way that disrupts it, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

2. Accounts

You must give accurate information when you register and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that are misused.

3. Submitting a manuscript

By submitting, the corresponding author confirms on behalf of all authors that:

• the work is original, has not been published before, and is not under consideration by another journal;
• all listed authors have approved the submission and contributed to the work, and no one entitled to authorship has been left out;
• the work does not infringe anyone's copyright or other rights, and permission has been obtained for any material reproduced from others;
• research involving people or animals received the required ethical approval, and competing interests and funding are fully declared;
• the data and results are genuine and have not been fabricated, falsified or plagiarised.

4. Peer review and editorial decisions

Submissions are checked by the editorial office and may be sent for peer review. Editorial decisions are made by the journal's editors on the merit of the work; we do not guarantee acceptance or a particular timeline. Manuscripts that breach these terms or publishing-ethics standards may be rejected, or corrected or retracted after publication.

5. Article processing charges

Submission and peer review are free. If an article is accepted, the journal's article processing charge, shown on the Publication Charges page, becomes due before publication. Waivers are considered as set out in the Waiver Policy. Charges are not refunded once an article has been published.

6. Copyright and licensing

Authors keep the copyright in their articles. Published articles are open access under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence (CC BY 4.0), unless stated otherwise on the article, and by submitting, authors grant us the right to publish and distribute the article under that licence. The website's design, logo and other content not published as articles belong to Premier Academic Publishers.

7. Content and liability

Articles express the views of their authors, not necessarily those of the publisher or editors. Published content is provided for information and research; it is not professional, medical or legal advice. We work to keep the website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for losses arising from its use. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed; continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
